Journalling
Sometimes the clearest way to understand what's happening inside your mind is to get it out of your head.
Get your thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
Writing creates space.

It slows racing thoughts, brings you back to the moment and helps you make sense of what's happening beneath all the noise.

You don't need to be a writer. You don't need perfect spelling. You just need somewhere for your thoughts to land.

Why it works
Our brains don't like unfinished business.

They'll happily replay the same conversation twenty times if they think they're protecting us or trying to solve something.
Writing is a way of saying, "I've got it. You don't have to keep reminding me."

Once it's on paper, your brain doesn't have to work so hard to hold onto it all. You can see what's actually there instead of carrying everything around in your head.
Nothing has to change for you to feel lighter. Getting it out of your mind and onto the page can change how it feels to carry it.
