Healing Tools
Healing is understanding what shaped you, what still follows you,
and what no longer needs to.
When thinking isn't enough
There are things we carry that are easy to see. And then there’s the other stuff.

The tight chest that shows up around certain people. The conversation you’ve replayed seventeen times. The reaction that surprised even you. The lump in your throat when you’re trying not to cry. The same old pattern you swore you weren’t going to repeat again.

We can think our way through some of these things. Other things need another way in.

That’s what the tools on this page are for.

Journalling can help unravel the knots and bring things into awareness. Breathwork can help regulate a nervous system that’s gone into overdrive. Meditation can create enough quiet to notice what’s actually going on. And somatic work brings the body into the conversation too - because not everything we carry shows up as a thought.
Sometimes it shows up as a feeling.

It can show up as a feeling, a reaction, or just that sense that something’s there.

Let’s find a way in.

Journalling
For the thoughts that keep looping, the things you’re trying to understand, and the stuff that becomes clearer once it’s out of your head.
Breathwork & Meditation
For slowing things down, settling your nervous system and giving yourself enough space to notice what’s actually going on.
Somatics
For the things you can feel in your body, even when you can’t quite explain them yet.
There are lots of ways to understand yourself
Healing sent me down a lot of rabbit holes. The more I learnt about myself, the more I realised there wasn’t going to be one framework, one practice or one explanation that suddenly made everything make sense.

So I explored psychology, the nervous system, energy, Reiki, astrology, Human Design, numerology, ancient wisdom and probably a few rabbit holes I’ve forgotten about.

Some gave me answers, some gave me questions, and some gave me a completely different way of looking at something I thought I already understood.

The more ways I found to understand myself, the less I judged myself for being the way I was.
Reiki & energy work
Reiki is a form of energy healing that works with the energy that moves through and around the body.A practitioner uses light touch, or works just above the body, to help that energy move and rebalance.
People can experience it in different ways - deep relaxation, warmth, tingling, emotion, heaviness, lightness or simply a feeling that something has shifted.

Energy work also brings awareness to what affects your energy in everyday life. Certain people, places and environments can leave you feeling energised, settled, heavy or completely drained.

The more I started noticing it, the easier it became to recognise what drains me, what restores me and what helps bring me back to myself.
Your birth chart
Most of us know our star sign. A birth chart goes much further than that, looking at where the sun, moon and planets were positioned at the exact time and place you were born.

Those positions are astronomical. Astrology is the system used to interpret what those positions might mean.
Your chart looks at things like your Sun, Moon, rising sign, planets and houses, with each one representing a different part of life - your emotions, relationships, communication, identity, drive and the way you respond to the world around you.

Put together, it creates a much bigger picture than a star sign alone.

Sometimes you read something and think, absolutely not. And sometimes you think, well... that explains a few things.
Human Design
Human Design is a system that combines ideas from astrology, the I Ching, chakras and other traditions to look at how your energy works and how you naturally make decisions.

It gives you a type, strategy and authority, along with a much deeper chart if you want to go down the rabbit hole.
The useful part is the self-awareness.

It can help you notice where you’re pushing against yourself, where you’re trying to operate like someone else, and what feels more natural when you stop forcing it.

For me, it became another way of understanding how I move through the world - and what works best for me.
Numerology
Numerology looks at the meaning connected to numbers in your birth date and name.

Your Life Path number is usually the starting point. It’s calculated from your birth date and is used to explore things like your strengths, challenges, patterns and the themes that tend to show up in your life.

It can be surprisingly reflective, especially when you start noticing where the descriptions fit, where they don’t and what they bring up for you.

Like the other tools here, it gives you another perspective to look through - another way of understanding yourself a little more clearly.

Some things need words.
Some things need breath.
Some things need movement.
The work is learning to notice what you need.
